Did I tell you guys that I decided to randomly take up embroidery? These are my efforts so far. I've been at this point for roughly 2 months because I need one more color of embroidery floss and keep forgetting to pick it up, whoops. I'm kind of loving embroidery and it's much easier than I thought it would be.
Right now my apartment is a disaster. It pretty much looks like a craft hurricane blew through. Tony has been calling me a hoard, I argue that I'm not a hoarder since I'm making stuff for Etsy, not just to hold on to. He has conceded that I may not be an actual hoarder, but I am surely in some kind of subcategory. So, I should probably finish the 10 half done projects on my living room floor and in the office, before I start anything new, but that won't stop me from thinking of ideas...Here are some patterns off of Etsy that I particularly like, but I'm excited to make my own as well.
These are gorgeous!!! I've always wanted to do an embroidery but it just looks so complicated. I'm glad to hear that it's easier than you thought it would be, I just may have to try it!!
ReplyDeleteIt was really easy and quick, I just followed the tutorial here -
