WRITING: This post! I forgot my laptop at home when I went out to set up the new apartment and have been without a computer and internet since Tuesday! Luckily I had set up some posts to auto update (because I know you would have been SO lost without the details of my life for you to read up on). However, come tomorrow, I will be working on work writing. Lots and lots of work related writing.
LISTENING: Like everyone else, Summertime Sadness is my new jam...even though it's not new at all, I'm just late to the bandwagon. Considering the summer is almost over, (well, at least seasonally. For me it's totally over work wise), I'm feeling some summertime sadness of my own. I'm also enjoying this Avicii song, which I will be downloading promptly so that I can listen to it on my next long run.
EATING: Amazing homemade, fresh garlic and pepper fettuccine that I got at the Brighton Farmer's Market today. We're having it with (not) homemade Alfredo sauce and it still tastes amazing.
WEARING: A bizarre ensemble consisting of Madras bermuda shorts, a J.Crew tank top and my thrifted, J.Crew chambray shirt. Mostly because Lux managed to get my original outfit dirty as sin.
LOVING: The location of the new place. It's basically in the country (photo above is about a 10 minute drive from me), and I am essentially surrounded by corn, horses, and cattle. Happily, 10 minutes in the other direction are tons of stores, including 3 HUGE thrift stores. It's ridiculous and amazing. I've managed to get almost everything I need to supplement the furnishings of my new place for a few hundred dollars.
WANTING: This pillow, which I am going to order shortly.
HOPING: To get healthy. Between vacation and moving around, I've been eating horribly and indulging way too much. First step was a 5 mile run yesterday, where I met my new neiiiiiggggghbors (yeah, I said it). I did a little research and it turns out that there's a large stable that offers lessons 2 miles from the apartment. Oh, and the run felt great, surprisingly enough.
FEELING: A bit overwhelmed and trying to stay mildly optimistic.
Belatedly linking up with Lauren :)
