Me & KK
Before the holidays I met up with a few other bloggers from my hometown - Alex from Monster Misa, KK from Preppy Pink Crocodile, and Natalie from talkanatalka. First off, sorry Ladies, for taking forever to post the pictures!
Second, it is so great to meet internet friends in real life, especially when they end up being great people to hang out with! We met up for a glass of wine at The Confectionery, a wonderful wine bar in Troy (you should really check it out if you haven't!). It sometimes seems like as you become an adult, you not only grow apart from many of your school friends, but it also becomes harder to meet people who share your interests - especially if you work from home! It was really fantastic to find blogger friends with similar interest and then be able to meet up with them in real life. I only wish I was still in the area so we could meet up more often!
That being said, any bloggers or readers out there in the Buffalo or Rochester areas?
I have a tendency of buying clothing that I love and then never wearing it - or never knowing ˆ to wear it. Well, I finally wore a shirt that has been sitting in my closet for about 6 months. Sadly, no good photos of it, but you can see it a little but under my sweater (side note: bulky, hand knit Irish fishermen sweaters do not photograph well when sitting!). It is by Elie Tahari and the grosgrain and ruffle collar really reminds me of the ruffles under the J.Crew sweatshirt that has been so popular this season - but the bonus is that this shirt will go under anything. Ugh, I can't even find a good picture online! I'll post a photo of the actual shirt (and not 1/4 inch of fabric) shortly!
Oh, tomorrow I'll be doing a Holiday Recap Blog Hop - It would be great if you linked up your Christmas and holiday posts!
