Am I Old Enough to Shop at Orvis Yet?

So a few weeks ago, it came to my attention that I quite liked a number of things at Orvis. At first I thought to myself, "Wow, I really have become a middle aged cat lady, all I need to do is buy a Subaru, move to Vermont or Maine, and get a golden retriever."

But, the more I thought about it and looked around, the more I sure I was that Orvis actually just had some pretty cool stuff. So here are a few things I would really like to own. Of course, I also need to become very, very wealthy, because even single working ladies can't afford to go drop $2k in one go...at a fly fishing store.

Cashmere Leather Indispensable Tote - I have a thing for totes. Most of my purses resemble luggage more than a handbag, so I think this would fit right in. Such pretty leather, so many pockets!

Le Chameau Leather-Lined Chasseur - I am a big fan of La Chameau. Orvis carries these leather lined wellies. Considering they're a major step up in price, I am assuming they're also step up in keeping from my Hunters - which are great for wet but not cold weather.

Buffalo Plaid Dot Trim Shirt - I mean, I wear a lot of flannel, but the dots make this so adorable and feminine. In my opinion, this shirt really stands out as rather unique. I am loving this more than I can say. Seriously.

Hadaki Lucy Leather iPad Sleeve - If I had an iPad I would want to put it in this leather sleeve. And no, that is not an euphemism.

Barbour Ladies Utility Jacket - Another "investment" piece. I'm thinking I might need this for spring, that time of year when it's not really warm, often rainy, and you never quite know what's going to happen with the weather.

Three Buckle Equestrian Belt - Perfect for high waist skirts or adding some definition to a dress.

I'm sure that some point between now and Christmas I'll head up to the Lake George Outlets, where there happens to be a Orvis Outlet. I'll let you know if I find anything good there. I'm pretty sure there's minimal chance of finding a Barbour, but hey, you never know.

So what do you think, is Orvis a yay or nay for you?
