Tony and I just booked our flights for our honeymoon and found that we have an extra day that we hadn't anticipated. The dilemma is how to spend that day? We're visiting three major cities - Paris, Florence and Rome, as well as making a few relaxation and beach stops. It's a bit of a whirlwind tour and as of right now, we're spending 2 days in each location. The question is, in which of these three cities do we spend our extra day? Having never been to any of them, I really couldn't say. Tony's been to both Florence and Rome, so I'm inclined to say Paris, but even still, there's so much to do in Florence and Rome!
So let me ask you, fellow world travelers, where would you spend your extra day?
having been to all three many times, i'd say paris for sure. you won't regret it!
ReplyDeleteFantastic, thanks for the suggestion! Have any particular sites or eateries that you love?
Deleteooh wow I would have to say Paris definitely! Lived there years ago for ten months and I loved it so much and am missing it a lot everyday

We went to Paris on our honeymoon and stayed in a hotel near the louvre--we seriously had the best time in that neighborhood--we were able to do everything we wanted and there were SO many options for food!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have much of an opinion on this since I've never been to any of the three, just wanted to tell you to have so much fun and express my jealousy, haha!

Paris! (I am partial to Italy, but Rome in particular can be quite hectic.) Book a day or afternoon trip to Monet's house in Giverny, complete with Japanese garden...beautiful and tranquil!
