Travel Friendly Beauty - Neogen Real Fresh Green Tea Cleansing Stick

I travel relatively frequently. I'd say I probably fly every other month in addition to a monthly road trip. Often I'm only traveling for a weekend and I prefer not to check luggage and have to deal wit the hassle of waiting or even worse, lost bags. Over the years I've honed my packing abilities to fit everything I need for a week into a carry-on. The only obstacle I still face is my beauty products - many of which are gels and liquids. Even when they are small enough to fit in my carry on pouch for liquids, I have to worry about them leaking all over the place. Consequently, whenever I see a beauty product that is travel friendly, I have to give it a try! For the last few months I've been using the Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick (check out my detailed review here), but it seems to be sold out everywhere  I decided to give another cleanser in my stash a try.

Tony picked up the Real Fresh Green Tea Cleansing Stick by Neogen for my while he was in South Korea this past fall and I decided to give it a try on my recent trip to Florida. So far I've been extremely pleased. It's specifically designed for acne prone skin, which I do have, but I was concerned it would be too drying for me. Having used it daily for several weeks, I can confidently say that is not the case. Not only have I found it to be very gentle, but it has also done a great job at removing makeup and sunscreen. Typically I double cleanse (using L'Occitane Shea Cleansing Oil as my first step), but I didn't want to bring a full sized bottle down to Florida, so I only brought my Neogen cleansing stick and it did the job of removing all my makeup admirably and never dried my skin out. It has a ton of skin soothing properties, like evening prime rose oil and camelia oil, and is in a coconut oil base (which my skin loves!). Overall, my skin has definitely cleared up since I started using it.

At $22, I think the price is quite reasonable for a product that will last for several months with twice daily use. Obviously being a solid, I don't have to worry about TSA restrictions or about leakage when you travel! Oh, it also has a lovely, light fresh scent that reminds me of spring.

Have you tried this cleanser before - what did you think?
